Job Description

Opportunity:

NP/PA - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Work in a Level 3 Emergency Department with 40,150 annual patient volume

  • Shift coverage needed for 11am-11pm, 7 days a week

  • Work independently in "VUE" fast track area (10 beds within ED)

  • Attending physicians available 24 hours for case reviews, evaluations, and guidance

  • Approximately 110 patients per day divided among providers

  • 50-bed emergency department with 20% admission rate

  • Cerner EMR system

  • No supervision requirements for resident cases

  • Must be board certified NP/PA with 2 years of recent ED experience

  • Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, DEA

  • Michigan license required

    This facility is a Level 3 Emergency Department with comprehensive emergency services and 24-hour coverage. The medical center provides a full range of services including 24-hour radiology, laboratory, AABB blood bank, pathology, and OR capabilities with all surgical specialties available. The facility has an established emergency medicine residency program and works collaboratively with other regional hospitals for specialized care transfers including pediatrics, stroke, and severe trauma cases.
