Job Description

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Details:

  • Assist in CABG and open heart surgeries, valve repair/replacement procedures

  • Perform EVH/vein harvesting with demonstrated independent ability

  • Conduct SFA exposure and sternotomy closure procedures

  • Provide critical care management in CV ICU setting

  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care

  • Handle Impella device management

  • Perform endoscopic radial artery harvesting

  • Place chest tubes, arterial/venous sheaths, and central venous lines

  • See approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

  • Must have experience as SFA in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures

  • Board certification required

  • ACLS certification required
