Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

  • Reports to Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons

  • Average 5-20 patients per day

  • Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery experience preferred; Critical Care experience may be considered

  • No new graduates

  • Adult and Geriatric patient demographic

  • EMR System: Epic

  • Includes OR Call and ICU/CVICU Call responsibilities

  • Coverage needed from April through July

  • Write prescriptions and coordinate care

  • Conduct patient rounding

  • Interpret and order tests

  • Perform vein harvesting procedures

  • Assist in surgery when needed

  • Board Certification required (ANCC, AANP)

  • ACLS certification required

  • Must have availability for specific open coverage dates
