Physician Assistant - Specialized - 30-7666-Gwinnett Crt Care
Job Details:
Full-time DAY shift position working three 12-hour shifts weekly (7a-7:30p)
Work in a multi-specialty medical-surgical community hospital ICU alongside attending physicians
Manage critically ill patients in a high acuity ICU setting with typical ratio of 10-15 ICU patients per APP
Collaborate with attending physicians to develop care plans and communicate dynamic changes throughout shift
Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
Complete thorough documentation including History and Physicals, Consultations, Follow-up Notes, and Procedure Notes in Cerner EMR
Interpret diagnostic testing and communicate with ICU nursing staff
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift
Perform invasive procedures including central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths, and introducers) and arterial line insertions
If NP candidate, must be Acute Care Certified
Requires valid national and state licensure
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an ICU setting
Proficiency with ICU procedures specifically central and arterial line insertions required
