Opportunity:

NP/PA - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Work 10-hour shifts (11 AM - 9 PM) in the Emergency Department

  • See patients autonomously with physician always present for consultation

  • Average patient volume of 20 patients per day

  • Collaborate with existing team of 1 full-time NP and 2 PRN PAs

  • Work in a 25-bed Emergency Department using Cerner EHR

  • Respond to house codes as needed

  • Work with hospitalists or ED physicians who write admission orders

  • Utilize transfer protocols to regional medical centers as needed

  • Access to 24-hour radiology, laboratory, blood bank, and pathology services

  • Must be board certified NP/PA with extensive ED experience

  • ACLS/PALS certification required

  • Michigan license required

    This medical group operates a provisional Level 4 trauma center with an annual emergency department volume of approximately 20,000 patients. The facility offers comprehensive emergency services with 24-hour availability for radiology, laboratory, blood bank, pathology, and operating room services. The emergency department collaborates with various specialists including orthopedics, OB/GYN, general surgery, neurology, and urology. The facility is part of a larger healthcare system focused on providing quality patient care to the community.
