Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (PA), Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Must be local provider with willingness to work within 60-mile radius of home residence

  • Minimum 12 months of experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months and older)

  • Handle high volume patient care with up to 60 patients per day (average 40 at this site)

  • Work as sole provider in the urgent care center with support staff including Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and Patient Services Assistant

  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system required for all patient visits

  • Perform minor procedures including incision & drainage, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures

  • Maintain positive attitude and embody culture of providing high-quality healthcare in the community

  • Excellent soft skills required for one-on-one interactions with support staff and patients

  • Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards)

  • Required certifications include Board Certification, PA Certification or Family NP Certification, BLS, and NC DEA

  • No call requirements

  • Supervising physician available offsite for advanced practice providers

  • Clinical screening and EMR training required before first shift

  • Training occurs on set Wednesdays and is mandatory
