Job Details:
Work in an urgent care setting seeing both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up)
Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care treatments
Must be proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system
Function as the sole provider in the center with support staff
Average of 20 patients per day (up to 40 depending on site)
Requires strong interpersonal skills for one-on-one interaction with support staff and patients
Must be board certified (NCCPA for PAs, NP Boards for NPs)
Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience required (new graduates not accepted)
BLS certification required
No call requirements
Support staff includes Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and Patient Service Associate
Supervising Physician provided for APPs (off-site)
Must be willing to support locations within a 65-mile radius of home residence
Clinical interview required, followed by EMR training and onboarding before first solo shift
