Job Description

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older)

  • Handle high volume patient care (average 40 patients per day, up to 60)

  • Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation

  • Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff

  • Use Epic electronic medical record system for all patient visits

  • Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience required

  • Board certification required (NCCPA for PAs, appropriate certification for NPs)

  • Current BLS certification and NC DEA license required

  • Must complete required EMR training and onboarding before first solo shift

  • No call requirements

  • Supervising physician provided for advanced practice providers (offsite)
