Job Details:
Work in urgent care setting seeing approximately 20 patients per shift (up to 40 depending on the site)
Treat both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation
Must be proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system
Must be comfortable working as the sole provider in the center
Strong interpersonal skills required as provider works one-on-one with support staff and patients
Board certification required (NCCPA for PAs, appropriate certification for NPs)
Minimum 12 months of experience required (no new graduates)
BLS certification required
Support staff includes Center Manager, Medical Assistant, Patient Service Associate
No call requirements
Supervising physician available offsite for APPs
Clinical interview required prior to placement
Must complete EMR training and onboarding before first solo shift
Candidates must be willing to support locations within a 65-mile radius of their residence
