Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:

  • Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans

  • Per diem work on an ongoing PRN basis with flexible scheduling

  • Option to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours)

  • One-time non-treatment examinations focused on assessment rather than treatment

  • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing

  • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities

  • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions

  • Follow-up administrative work required on regular basis including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics

  • Quick credentialing and onboarding process

  • Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified

  • Weekend work available but not required

  • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
