Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Job Details:
Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
Per diem position on a PRN basis with ongoing need
Option to work half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours)
1.5 days per week needed in Cookeville, TN with 5-mile radius preferred
One-time non-treatment exams only - no prescribing or treatment required
Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
Follow-up administrative work required on regular basis including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics
Quick credentialing and onboarding process
Seeking providers with family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine background
Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified
Weekends can be accepted but are not requiredFacility:
