Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Job Details:
Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
Work on a PRN basis with ongoing availability needed
Option to work half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours)
Conduct one-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments
Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
Must have own office within 50 miles of Warwick, RI to see Veterans
5 days per week coverage needed
Follow-up administrative work required on regular basis including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics
Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
Quick credentialing and onboarding process
Weekends can be accepted but are not requiredFacility:
