Job Description

Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedics

Job Details:

  • Contract length of 60-90 days starting April 27

  • Schedule: Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with possible Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

  • See 25-30 patients per day ranging from ages 13-90+

  • Provide care for new and established patients with non-emergent acute fracture care

  • Perform cortisone joint injections and ViscoSupplementation injections

  • Conduct acute/chronic pain orthopedic and sports medicine evaluations

  • Handle fracture evaluation and management

  • Perform large and small joint injections and aspirations

  • Manage medication prescriptions and treatment plans

  • Work with support staff including MA, LPN, AT, clinical lead, front desk lead, and practice manager

  • Use Epic EMR system for documentation

  • Note: This office does not see spine-related issues

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required

  • Ohio NP license and DEA required prior to start

  • CAQSM certification preferred
