Job Description

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services for adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)

  • Handle high volume patient care with up to 60 patients per day (average 40 for this site)

  • Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff including Center Manager, MA, and PSA

  • Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures

  • Use Epic EMR system for all patient visits and documentation

  • Maintain positive attitude and embody organizational culture of providing high quality healthcare

  • Complete required EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift

  • Participate in mandatory training sessions held on Wednesdays

  • Available for multiple locations within 60-mile radius if needed

  • Minimum 12 months of experience required

  • Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards)

  • BLS certification and NC DEA required

  • No call requirements

  • Supervising physician available offsite for APPs
