Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services for adults and pediatric patients (6 months and older)

  • Handle high volume patient care with up to 60 patients per day (average 40 for this site)

  • Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff including Center Manager, MA, PSA

  • Perform minor procedures including incision & drainage, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures

  • Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient visits and documentation

  • Maintain positive attitude and embody organizational culture of high quality healthcare

  • Minimum 12 months of experience required

  • Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards)

  • Required certifications include Board Certification, PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS, NC DEA

  • Must pass clinical screening and complete mandatory EMR training and onboarding

  • Training occurs on set Wednesdays and is required prior to first solo shift

  • No call requirements or overnight coverage

  • Supervising physician available offsite for advanced practice providers

  • Must be local provider (within 60 miles of facility)
