Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

  • Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM on a 24-hour call basis

  • Cover 3 weekends per month on an ongoing basis

  • Support urgent surgical cases, including patients transitioning from the cath lab to surgery

  • Manage patients from ICU through discharge, with stable patients waiting until Monday when appropriate

  • Perform vein harvesting as a special procedure

  • Treat adult patient population ages 18 and older

  • Utilize EPIC EMR system

  • Work within a 163-bed hospital setting with surgeon available for backup after consult

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required

  • Active PA license required

  • DEA required

  • Acute care certificate is NOT required
