Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (PA) - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery


Job Details:

  • Both day and night shifts available: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 7 days per week

  • Responsibilities include rounding in the ICU and managing pre and post-cardiac surgery patients

  • Manage patients coming off ventilators following open heart surgeries, VATS, and lung cases

  • Care for patients coming directly out of the OR with complex cardiothoracic cases

  • Average patient census of 10-15 patients on the service at any given time

  • OR experience with vein harvesting strongly preferred

  • Board certification required; minimum certification level: Certified

  • Required certifications include ACLS and BLS

  • Level 1 Trauma Facility
