Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care
Job Details:
Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position covering night shifts and weekend/weekday warrior shifts
Shift schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (nights) or 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (days)
No call responsibilities
Patient volume of 10-17 patients per shift
High acuity cases including Arterial Lines, Central Lines, consults, and Codes (no intubations performed at night)
Solo coverage at night with resident support from the Emergency Room available Sunday through Thursday nights during November through June
Open ICU environment with Virtual ICU hardwired into the 4th floor
EMR system: EPIC
Minimum commitment of 5-7 shifts per month required
Board Certification required; Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners
Active ACLS, BLS, and active DEA required
Active state license required (no licensure candidates accepted)Facility:
