PA - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Cover 6-12 shifts per month with availability for Monday through Saturday shifts including days, evenings, and overnight shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM)

  • Night shift availability is required for consideration

  • See a wide variety of emergency department patients with a focus on lower acuity cases

  • Perform administrative tasks including radiology review and blood work review as needed

  • May be required to assist with triage and tech responsibilities

  • Must maintain current NIHSS certification annually along with required Stroke CME

  • EMTALA education is mandatory

  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required through AHA or Red Cross

  • ATLS is not required

  • Must have an active Pennsylvania license

  • Emergency department experience required

  • Must be local enough to drive in

  • Open to PAs only; NPs are not eligible for this position
