Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Emergency Department NP or PA coverage needed from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM

  • Specific coverage dates needed: 7/31 - 8/4, 8/21 - 8/25, 9/7 - 9/9, and 9/12 - 9/13

  • Single provider placement only - multiple providers will not be accepted

  • Schedule covers 7 days a week

  • Average of 36 patients seen per day

  • Support staff includes ED Physicians and ED RNs

  • Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

  • Charting/EMR system: Meditech

  • Board certification or board eligibility required

  • Average of 3 admissions per day

  • Ability to treat patients of all ages is required

  • BLS certification required

  • Level 3 trauma facility

  • Travel and lodging provided if needed


    • Facility:

    This facility is a community-based hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient services, including a fully staffed Emergency Department supported by ED physicians and nursing staff. The facility operates a Level 3 trauma center and utilizes the Meditech EMR system. Temporary privileges are available when needed, and the hospital is able to assist with lodging arrangements for traveling providers.
