Opportunity:

Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Medicine

Job Details:

• Temporary coverage position with a minimum estimated need of 12 weeks


• Practice population focuses on adult and geriatric patients


• Position works Monday through Thursday full-time


• No on-call or weekend responsibilities


• No supervisory responsibilities over other healthcare providers


• No backup coverage required for the emergency department


• Works within a practice of 5 primary care physicians and 4 mid-level providers


• Documentation completed using EPIC EMR system


• 2-3 exam rooms available for patient care


• Required procedures include evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues, pelvic exams and pap smears, and disability exams


• Minimum 1 year of primary care experience required


• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be Board Certified within 3 years of finishing) required


• Active DEA and active Michigan license required


• BLS certification required


• Must be a local Michigan provider able to drive in to the location
