Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
Inpatient Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA) position with day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Monday through Friday schedule with full-time coverage needed
See 11-16 patients per day across all age groups
Strong hematology focus required; must be comfortable with both benign and malignant hematology patients
Perform inpatient initial consults, ongoing patient care, and discharge execution
Conduct clinic visits including cycle 1 day 1 chemotherapy overviews, ongoing chemotherapy visits, and survivorship appointments
Provide Hypersensitivity Reaction supervision and triage support
Handle medical record in-basket support
Same-day documentation required for inpatient services; outpatient documentation required within 3 days maximum
No call coverage required
APP support provided during daytime hours on both hematology and oncology inpatient services
EMR system: Epic experience required
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of experience required
MN license required; DEA not required
