Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Hematology Oncology, Nurse Practitioner - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
Outpatient, clinic-only schedule with no call required
Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Flexibility to work 3 days per week (Monday through Wednesday) with 10-hour shifts, during which additional time may be used for charting
Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 10 hours per day
Work with hematology oncology patients, including managing patients in the infusion suite
Collaborate with an oncologist on most days, with some days working independently
Responsibilities include managing in-basket, responding to patients regarding lab results, and working with a navigator to triage calls
No rounding required
Work within a newly renovated clinic alongside a team of infusion nurses, an oncology nurse navigator, medical assistants, an oncology dietitian, a social worker, and schedulers
Support available from a specialized Oncology Palliative Care team
Average of 10 patient encounters per shift
Active license required; Oregon license or willingness to obtain Oregon license required
DEA required; Board Certified required
AONCP certification is required; BLS certification required
