Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (NP) - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology, Physician Assistant - Neonatology


Job Details:

  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage for a Level III NICU

  • 12 or 24-hour shift options available

  • No call coverage required as full shifts are in-house

  • Flight transport may be required on occasion (approximately 1-2 times per year) - only providers willing to perform transport should apply

  • Ground transport is also required

  • Expected procedures include intubation, chest tubes, umbilical lines, PICC lines, arterial sticks, and assistance with IV insertion

  • Level III NICU experience required

  • Facility accepts 23+ weeks gestation, with resuscitation decisions under 24 weeks dependent on parental wishes

  • Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

  • 16 beds in department

  • Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)

  • BLS certification required

  • Fellowship experience required

  • Pennsylvania licensure preferred

  • Open to locum-to-perm candidates as well as as-needed coverage

  • Lodging arranged by facility
