Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (PA) - Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery


Job Details:

  • Immediate need for an experienced Neurosurgery PA or NP (First Assist) to work with a well-established, high volume neurosurgery practice

  • Practice includes 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers serving both adult and pediatric patients

  • Inpatient rounding position with call responsibilities

  • Call is rotated among PAs with 1:4/5 weekend call responsibility and 1:4/5 night call responsibility

  • Full-time position working 40 hours per week

  • Schedule is Monday through Friday with weekend call or 7 on/7 off

  • Minimum availability of two weeks per month required

  • 600+ bed facility serving as a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

  • Active Florida license required

  • Current board certification required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery required

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Local candidates preferred

The organization supports a robust neurosurgery program with a well-established team of surgeons and advanced practice providers, delivering high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of complex neurological conditions.
