Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Full-time position with 40 hours of scheduled work per week

  • Varied shifts between 8, 10, and 12 hours, including 24-hour and 16-hour shifts

  • Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month

  • Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance

  • Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ over age 12)

  • Supervision-based anesthesia with max 4:1 ratio

  • Procedures include: gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, cranial, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endo, interventional radiology, MRI

  • Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases

  • CRNAs perform spinal blocks and occasional arterial lines

  • No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds or OB cases

  • EMR: Epic

  • Board certification required

  • Minimum 1 year experience required (will consider 6 months minimum)

  • DEA and CSR required

  • Scrubs provided

  • Facility prefers 6 months to 1 year contracts for continuous coverage

    This facility is a 378-bed regional medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The surgical department features 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology. As a Level II Trauma center, the facility offers advanced surgical and medical care across multiple specialties. The medical center is part of a larger healthcare system with multiple campuses in the region and uses the Epic electronic medical records system.
