Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Immediate needs for Saturday and Sunday 8-hour shifts, can be combined into a full-time schedule (5 eight-hour shifts)
Immediate needs for overnight shifts (3 twelve-hour nights or 24-hour shifts)
Overnight shifts require minimum of 2 weekends per month (full-time only)
Challenging acute cases with diverse surgical procedures including GYN, Ortho, Cysto, General surgery, Cardiac (optional), Lungs, Healthy pediatrics, Endoscopy, OB (no regional required), Vascular, Neuro spine
Additional procedures include Code Stroke and EP
Work with a team of MDs and CRNAs
Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must be able to perform general anesthesia for adults, pediatrics, and trauma cases
Skills required: obstetrical cases, neurosurgical (spine), open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, complex orthopedic cases
Required ventilation management and acute volume/BP management
Arterial line placement required; central line placement preferred
Facility:
This facility is a Level 2 trauma center and Level 3 pediatric facility offering a comprehensive range of surgical services. The hospital features up-to-date equipment and safety measures to support anesthesia practice. The anesthesia department contains 27 beds and handles 2-5 patient encounters per shift. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and values professional collaboration between MDs and CRNAs.
