Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • 1-2 CRNAs needed for ambulatory surgery center

  • Practice independently - CRNAs manage their own cases with approximately 10% medical direction

  • Team-based model in a physician-owned ASC

  • Must be comfortable performing nerve blocks including interscalenes, supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary, adductor canal, genicular PENG, and popliteal blocks

  • Will place interscalene and adductor canal catheters

  • Cases include general surgery, hernias, eyes, ears, sinus, general orthopedics, and colonoscopies

  • Approximately 2,800 patients annually

  • Procedures start at 7:30 AM - arrival by 7:00 AM required

  • Occasional overtime available (time and a half for hours over 40 in a week or 8 in a day)

  • Housing available in provider-owned property adjacent to surgery center

  • Travel, airfare, lodging, and car rental covered

  • Active Alaska medical license required or willing to obtain licensure

The center focuses on providing high-quality care in a specialized setting, handling approximately 2,800 cases annually. The facility features a collaborative team environment where CRNAs play an integral role in patient care, working with minimal physician oversight. The surgery center performs a variety of procedures including general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and endoscopy, offering providers diverse clinical experiences in an ambulatory setting.
