Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Full-time position requiring 40 hours of scheduled work per week
Schedule varies between 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
Additional coverage needed for 24-hour plus 16-hour shift per week
Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
Option to work 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday regular shift every 3 months in place of one call option
6-week schedules provided in advance
Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ patients over age 12)
Perform supervision-based anesthesia with maximum 4: 1 supervision ratio
Cases include: gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, lungs, healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, and interventional radiology
Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
Perform spinal blocks;occasional opportunity for arterial lines
No burns, transplants, open heart, sick pediatrics or OB cases
Minimum 1 year experience required (may consider 6 months as minimum)
Board certification required
DEA and CSR required
Epic EMR system used
