Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
40 hours of scheduled work per week with varying shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts)
Coverage includes 24-hour shift plus 16-hour shift per week
Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
6-week schedule provided in advance
Full-time continuous coverage (no block scheduling)
Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ patients over age 12)
Performs supervision-based anesthesia in 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas
Cases include: gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, lungs, healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, and interventional radiology
Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
Performs spinal blocks and occasional arterial lines
No burns, transplants, open heart, sick pediatrics, or OB cases
EMR: EPIC
Minimum 1 year experience required (6 months minimum considered)
Board certification required
DEA and CSR required
Supervision model is maximum 4: 1 ratio
