Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • 40-hours of scheduled work per week with varying shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts)

  • Contract length preferably 6 months to 1 year for continuous coverage

  • Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month

  • Schedule provided 6-weeks in advance

  • Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ of patients over age 12)

  • Perform supervision-based anesthesia (4:1 supervision ratio)

  • Skills required include Gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, Endo, and Interventional radiology

  • Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases

  • Will perform Spinal Blocks, occasionally arterial lines

  • No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds or OB cases

  • Epic EMR system

  • Minimum experience required: 1 year (will consider 6 months minimum)

  • BC required with active DEA and CSR

  • Scrubs provided

    This facility is a 378-bed hospital serving as a regional medical center with comprehensive surgical services. The surgical department features 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery centers, plus special procedure areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology. The center provides a wide range of surgical services and functions as a Level II Trauma center, offering advanced medical care to the surrounding communities.
