Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

40 hours of scheduled work per week with varying shift lengths (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts)
Coverage needed for 24-hour shift plus 16-hour shift per week
Full-time locums position with continuous coverage (6 months to 1 year contract preferred)
Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance
Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ patients over age 12)
Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
Services include: gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, lungs, healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, and interventional radiology
No burns, transplants, open heart, sick pediatrics, or OB cases
CRNAs perform spinal blocks and occasionally arterial lines
Supervision model with maximum 4:1 ratio
Epic EMR system used
Minimum 1 year experience required (will consider 6 months minimum)
Board certification required
DEA and CSR required

This regional medical center serves as a major healthcare provider in the area with 378 beds. The facility features 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialized areas including catheterization labs, endoscopy suites, and radiology. The medical center provides comprehensive surgical services and operates as a Level II Trauma Center, offering advanced care for a wide range of conditions and procedures. The facility utilizes Epic EMR system and provides scrubs in the department.
