Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Full-time locum tenens position with 40 hours of scheduled work per week

  • Prefer 6-month to 1-year contract for continuous coverage

  • Variable shifts including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, plus coverage for 24-hour and 16-hour shifts per week

  • Call required: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month

  • Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance

  • Patient population includes adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics (90%+ of patients are over age 12)

  • Work in supervision-based anesthesia model with max 4:1 ratio

  • Perform cases including gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endo, and interventional radiology

  • Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases

  • Perform spinal blocks; occasionally perform arterial lines (not required)

  • No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB cases

  • Epic EMR system

  • Minimum 1 year experience required (will consider 6 months minimum)

  • Board certification required

  • DEA and CSR required

    • Facility:

    This is a 378-bed regional medical center that serves as a Level II Trauma facility. The surgical department features 17 main operating rooms, 7 same-day surgery centers, plus specialty areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology. The facility provides comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple specialties and utilizes the Epic electronic medical records system. As an important healthcare provider in the region, the facility offers advanced medical technology and a collaborative, professional working environment.
