Job Details:
Full-time locums position providing continuous coverage with 40 hours of scheduled work per week
Contract length preferred 6 months to 1 year for ongoing coverage needs
Variable shift patterns including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts plus 24-hour and 16-hour coverage requirements weekly
Call requirements include 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance with no block scheduling available
Patient population includes adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics with 90%+ over age 12
Work in 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology
Perform supervision-based anesthesia with maximum 4:1 ratio
Handle diverse surgical cases including gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, pulmonary, pediatrics, ophthalmology, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, and interventional radiology
Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
Perform spinal blocks but not regional anesthesia/blocks independently
Occasional arterial line placement opportunities
No burns, transplants, open heart, critically ill pediatrics, or obstetric cases
Use EPIC electronic medical record system
Board certification required with minimum 1 year experience
DEA and CSR required, open to licensing candidatesFacility:
