Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Work (4) 10-hour shifts per week or (3) 12-hour shifts per week Hours 11AM-11PM including rotating Saturdays & Sundays Located in Inpatient & Outpatient GI settings Treat patients ages 13 through end of life All time off requests must be made upfront Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals) Valid ACLS & BLS certifications through AHA required Epic EMR system experience preferred GI experience required;job is Medical Direction Will not be performing open heart/thoracic, peds, obstetrics, or peripheral nerve blocks Minimum 2 years experience required Virginia license required Board certification required Prefer candidates with academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Facility:
This facility is a 600-bed Level 1 trauma center with a comprehensive anesthesia department consisting of 60 CRNAs, approximately 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents. The anesthesia team covers 33 operating rooms in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and several stand-alone GI center rooms. The facility offers both inpatient and outpatient services and provides care to a diverse patient population in a teaching hospital environment.
