Job Details:
Cover 8-hour (7a-3p) and 10-hour (7a-5p) day shifts Monday and Friday availability required M-F availability is ideal Longer shifts (12s & 16s) sometimes available but not guaranteed Minimum availability of 2 weeks/month required Work in a busy OR with approximately 40-60 cases per day Typical schedule begins at 7am with first case wheels in room at 7: 23am Case turnover time of 17-22 minutes (case dependent) Cases gradually decrease after 1pm but several continue through 7/11pm Work under medical direction, typically in a 1: 3 ratio Required to respond to emergency C-sections Opportunity to perform epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks if competency is proven Up to full-time schedule available
