Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Provide anesthesia care for general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, ENT procedures
Assess, prepare and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period
Develop and implement anesthetic plans
Perform history and physical examinations
Obtain informed consent
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
Administer general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
Place invasive monitoring devices (CVP/CVC, intra-arterial lines)
Manage patient airways
Work under medical direction with 2: 1 or 3: 1 CRNA/anesthesiologist ratio
Shifts available: 8 hours (6: 30am-3: 00pm), 10 hours (6: 30am-5: 00pm), or 12 hours (6: 30am-7: 00pm)
7: 30am start on Thursdays
Minimum 1 year of experience required
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

The anesthesia department is well-equipped with anesthesia technicians who assist with equipment turnover. The surgical department handles a diverse case mix including complex procedures in neurosurgery, orthopedics, and pediatrics.
