Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected Michigan hospital providing care across a full patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics
This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases and opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia
Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need
Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
Board Certified CRNA with active MI license required
ACLS, BLS through AHA, and PALS certification required
Must have 1 year CRNA experience
