Job Details:
Provide anesthesia services at a 250-bed facility
Average of 4 patient encounters per shift
Must be willing to work weekends and take call
Must be board-certified with at least one year of experience
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification required
Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing regional blocks
Experience with case logs of blocks performed required
Provider must live 90+ miles from facility
Types of surgery include: complete ortho, complex vascular, head/spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional
Required skills: general anesthesia (adult and pediatric), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, complex orthopedic cases, ventilation management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
Preferred skills: regional anesthesia surgery, obstetrical cases, head surgery, thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, pain management techniques, post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, central line placement, arterial line placement
