Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • 4/10-hour shifts with an additional 30 minutes of required, unpaid break on top of each shift

  • Other shift configurations will be considered

  • Coverage needed every week to total six 40-hour CRNA FTEs

  • Current ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications required

  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience

  • EP/Cath Lab, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, and GI Suite experience preferred

  • Must be comfortable with a variety of anesthesia techniques including general, spinal, epidural, and regional

  • Experience required in cardiac, complete ortho, complex vascular, head spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures

  • Skills needed include ventilation management, central line placement, arterial line placement, and PA catheter placement

  • Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases required

  • Primarily operates under the medical direction model

    This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with a robust anesthesia department consisting of 16 employed anesthesiologists and 52 employed CRNAs. The medical center offers comprehensive surgical services including cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and obstetrical procedures. The facility utilizes primarily a medical direction model but also supplements with personally performed physician cases when needed. As a major regional healthcare provider, the institution maintains high standards for patient care across a wide range of specialties.
