Job Details:
13-week contract with options to extend
Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts or three 12-13 hour shifts per week, plus one rotating Saturday per month with no call required
Weekly availability is required; rotation of weeks on/weeks off is not preferred
All time off requests must be submitted upfront and approved prior to acceptance; time off exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer months
Patient population ranges from adolescents (age 13) through end of life
Level 1 trauma center supporting a large anesthesia team including CRNAs, attending anesthesiologists, and anesthesia residents
Anesthesia team covers main operating rooms, offsite anesthesia locations, outpatient surgery ORs, and GI center rooms
Practice settings include inpatient and outpatient environments with options to work in the main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
EMR system is Epic (preferred experience)
Hospital bed size is 600 beds
Cases will not include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or performing peripheral nerve blocks
All CRNA scopes of practice are required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
Outpatient-only candidates will be considered, but recent inpatient experience is preferred
Board certification is required along with a Virginia state license
ACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the AHA
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
Two professional references or contact information for two references must be provided at time of submittal
If provider has any prior affiliation with the facility (work, school, or other), this must be disclosed in the presentation
