Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • 6-month contract (26 weeks) with full-time schedule of 5x8 shifts

  • Schedule runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; Monday and Friday shifts are high priority

  • Must be flexible with scheduling - no consecutive days

  • Providers must be able to float between locations; main location will serve as the primary site

  • Medical direction will be performed at the main location

  • Approximately 4-5 shifts per month of coverage needed

  • 60+ cases per day with patients of all ages

  • Department: Anesthesiology - includes 20 ORs (general, ortho, GYN, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, trauma) and 5 NORA locations (IR, EP, ENDO, MRI)

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Special equipment includes Drager anesthesia machine and Philips monitoring

  • Preferred skills: hearts/vascular, neuro, and pediatrics (hearts and lungs will not be required)

  • Practice setting: Hospital

  • Board certification required: CRNA

  • Active North Carolina state license required

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience required; no new graduates

  • Certifications required: ACLS and PALS
