Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • 26-week contract with options to extend
  • Full-time schedule: 4x10 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Must be available 4 weeks per month
  • Practice setting: Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
  • Departments covered include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology (no cardiac or OB cases)
  • Patient population spans all age groups excluding neonatal (includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics)
  • Daily patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients per day
  • CRNAs are medically directed, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
  • Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Technicians, and Anesthesiologists
  • Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; blocks are not likely required
  • All providers will be required to work NORA cases
  • EMR system: EPIC preferred
  • Board Certification required: NBCRNA
  • Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing assistance
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Recent experience in a large medical center setting required
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
