Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery, Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Job Details:
Full-time position requiring 36-40 hours per week plus weekend calls
Typically three 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm) not including call
OR First Assist responsibilities
Scheduled clinic hours
Call schedule includes nights and weekends (approximately every 5 weekends)
Weekday call is from 6pm-6:30am from home
Weekend call runs from Friday 6pm through Monday 6:30am from home
Responsibilities include primarily OR duties with some ICU floor time
Experience with Marquet equipment, Cerner EMR, and EVH required
First assist skills necessary
Approximately 3-4 patient encounters per shift
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Board certification or eligibility required
