Job Description

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

  • Full-time experienced cardiothoracic provider position to cover gap from April 2024 through July 18, 2026

  • Work both hospital and clinic hours with call responsibilities 7-8 days per month

  • Call schedule includes 24-hour weekend call and night call during weekdays after clinical hours

  • Clinic coverage 2-4 days per month

  • Surgical first assist duties 10-12 days per month

  • Call responsibilities include inpatient rounding and first assist callback

  • See approximately 8 patients per shift

  • Overtime available after 40 clinical hours per week

  • Must be board certified with fellowship training

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • 60-day credentialing timeframe
