Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (PA) - Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care/Intensive Care, Physician Assistant - Critical Care/Intensive Care
Job Details:
Critical care board certified APP position with experience in cardiac ICU
Specific management experience required for VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant
Schedule consists of (3) 13-hour shifts per week (7am-8pm or 7pm-8am)
Position includes night shifts, weekends, and holidays through March 2026
Primary responsibilities include managing HVI CCU patients under Intensivist guidance
Daily duties include rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative management
Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter, and IABP removal
Patient load of approximately 8-12 encounters per shift
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Lunch breaks are not included in worked hours
