Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services for adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)

  • Handle high volume patient care (average of 40 patients per day, up to 60)

  • Work independently as the sole provider in the center with support staff

  • Perform procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures

  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required

  • Must maintain a positive attitude while delivering high quality healthcare

  • Minimum of 12 months experience required

  • Board certification required (NCCPA for PAs, appropriate certification for NPs)

  • BLS certification and NC DEA required

  • Support staff includes Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and Patient Service Associate

  • Must complete required EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift

  • No call requirements

  • May be asked to support locations within a 60-mile radius
