Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services treating adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)

  • Handle high volume patient care with an average of 40 patients per day (up to 60 possible)

  • Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures

  • Serve as the sole provider in the center working with support staff including Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and PSA

  • Must have at least 12 months of urgent care experience (new graduates not considered)

  • Require proficiency with Epic EMR system

  • Must have good interpersonal skills for one-on-one interactions with support staff and patients

  • Must have appropriate board certification (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards)

  • Current BLS certification and NC DEA required

  • Supervising physician provided (offsite)

  • No call requirements

  • Must complete required EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift

  • May be asked to support locations within a 60-mile radius of home residence
