Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Provide gastroenterology coverage with ERCP required
Coverage needed for specific date blocks: 3/25-3/30, 6/12-6/15, and 12/11-12/14
Monday-Friday schedule: 9-hour shift with 1-hour lunch (8 billable hours) plus 15-hour overnight call
Weekend call coverage for 24 hours
Complete block coverage required - no partial availability accepted
Work independently without scribe or assistant support
Responsible for all charting, work completion, pathology review, and patient communication
Perform hospital procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, and PEG/PEG-J tube placement
ERCP/EUS preferred procedures in 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites
Utilize Olympus equipment, hydrogen breath testing, capsule endoscopy, and Propofol
Work with Cerner, gGastro, and Athena systems
Average 12 patients per day for procedures, fewer inpatients
Must be board certified and have fellowship training
Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
Comprehensive gastroenterology skills required including upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and various therapeutic proceduresFacility:
