Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

  • See approximately 20 patients per shift in a 192-bed hospital setting

  • Locums-to-permanent position opportunity available

  • Board certification eligible minimum requirement

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Level 4 trauma facility

  • Fellowship training required (3 years)

  • Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders required

  • Injection of varices and ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) capabilities required

  • PEG tube placement preferred

  • Small bowel biopsy and liver biopsy procedures required

  • Lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy required

  • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision capabilities required

  • Position available immediately with ongoing need
