Job Description

Opportunity:

Physician - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

  • Provide clinic coverage 4 days per week (preferably Tuesday-Friday) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Cover 2 weeknight call shifts per week from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM

  • Provide weekend call coverage 1 weekend per month starting Friday at 4:00 PM and ending Monday at 8:00 AM

  • See 18-20 patients per day in outpatient clinic setting

  • Treat adult patient population (18 years and older)

  • Work with support staff including 1 APP, 1 RN, and 1 MA

  • Check EPIC In Basket daily and empty daily

  • Place own orders with nursing assistance available when needed

  • Sign outpatient notes by end of day or end of following day

  • Round on assigned inpatients in the morning and complete consult notes by end of day

  • Report off to next provider in on-call rotation

  • Use EPIC electronic medical record system

  • Board certification in Oncology required

  • Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ required

  • DEA registration required

  • Minimum 1 year experience required
